How do I upload a video and which file types are supported?

Uploading is free and works in our mobile apps (iPhone, iPad, Mac and Android).

You can upload one video per day.

  1. On Home, tap the Upload button at the bottom of the screen.

  2. Choose a video:

    1. Record it directly in Eden.

    2. Pick one from your Photo Library or Files.

  3. On the Upload Detail page, fill in the following details (these are moderated too):

    1. A 16:9 cover image

    2. Title

    3. Category

    4. Tags

    5. Language

    6. Location (optional). Tagging the venue helps fans find your video in the Local feed.

  4. Tap Share.

  5. Once your video passes moderation, you'll get a push notification. If notifications are off, check your profile after 1–10 minutes.

Supported File Types

  • Primary Formats:

    • .mp4 (MPEG-4 / H.264 / HEVC)

    • .mov (Apple QuickTime)

    • .m4v (Apple MPEG-4 video)

  • Legacy & Other Containers:

    • .avi (Audio Video Interleave)

    • .3gp / .3g2 (Mobile video formats)

    • .mpg / .mpeg (Standard MPEG-1 or MPEG-2)

    • .ts (MPEG-2 Transport Stream)
