On Home, tap your profile at the top, then go to Settings → Privacy:
Hide Location: your distance and location aren't shown to others.
Hide Identities: hide the identity details on your profile.
Hide Profile: you won't appear in People Nearby.
Block Incoming Messages: people can't start new conversations with you.
